The Center, that is amid a digital transformation, turns 30 years old. It has always been at the forefront using latest technologies to provide customers and subscribers the best quality service.

The experience acquired since its creation in 1990 and its major qualifications have enabled it to become a center of reference in the field of Insurance, Risk Management, Prevention and Social Welfare.

During this Covid-19 crisis period, the entire team at the Documentation Center has continued to work at full capacity, updating the web catalog daily with electronic documents and digital magazines, following the daily news of the sector, and attending to users’ queries by e-mail (centrodocumentacion@fundacionmapfre.org), through the Web Catalog and the Query Box.

As Fundación MAPFRE’s document repository, the Center collaborates with all Foundation’s areas providing the digital link to all the publications they produce. The Center also deals with queries on a daily basis from both external users (professionals and researchers from the academic and insurance sectors) and internal users from the technical areas of Grupo MAPFRE.

It also maintains its dissemination through social networks, mainly through LinkedIn, and publishes a monthly News Bulletin which is received by its subscribers, in which collaborators participate with articles on current affairs. It also includes recommended bibliographies.
