• Face painting, magic workshops and children’s games are just a few of the many activities organized for kids at this market.
• More than 50 volunteers will participate in the solidarity event
• In Madrid, on Friday December 13 and Saturday December 14

For seventh year in a row, Fundación MAPFRE has organized its Solidarity Market, under the slogan “Let’s change the world together”, in Madrid. The goal is to try and help vulnerable people who are at risk of social exclusion.

Each year, the money raised by Fundación MAPFRE stands goes to two associations. This time around, they are the Madrid Asperger’s Association, which works towards improving the quality of life of people with Asperger’s, and Fundación Luchadores AVA, which provides comprehensive care for people with severe neurological disorders.

This year, the market will be held at the Moda shopping mall, on December 13 and 14, with the involvement of more than 20 associations and NGOs, including Asociación Talismán, Colores de Calcuta, Manos Unidas, Fundación Bobath, Hospitales para África and Mary’s Meals, among others. They will offer their products for charitable causes.

During the event, in which more than 70 Fundación MAPFRE volunteers will participate, several activities geared toward the youngest visitors will take place. These include magic workshops by Fundación Abracadabra, country dance lessons, face painting and workshops to learn how to wrap gifts led by Asociación Guerreros Púrpura.

Adults will also be able to enjoy music performances by Torrelodones Rock Choir and The Nuumas, a gourmet area, and homemade bakery and solidarity sweets stands.
