Fundación MAPFRE’s headquarters have held the final of this championship in which four teams from universities in the Community of Madrid have taken part.
The team comprising of five students from Rey Juan Carlos University has won the BUGAMAP Madrid inter-university championship, a competition promoted by Fundación MAPFRE with the aim of teaching students more about the insurance sector.
The business game MAPFRE, known as BUGAMAP, is a business simulation game which teaches university and postgraduate students from numerous countries how the insurance business management works through decision-making and simulating its impact on the company’s market share, performance and solvency.
20 students from the following universities competed in the final: The Complutense, Rey Juan Carlos, Nebrija and Europea universities. There were a total of 10 seminars in the different stages of the championship in which around 200 students from 8 universities in the Community of Madrid took part.
